Freyr
The first “freischwingers”, or springy armchairs, originate from the start of the twentieth century when round tubular steel first appeared in furniture design. From one piece of tubing a complete frame was formed, to which only the seat was added. The tubular steel has a clean, almost industrial appearance, whilst also ensuring that the armchair springs comfortably.

The Freyr armchair is an authentic freischwinger with a modern appearance. Shiny chrome with wooden armrests in timeless walnut and a soft upholstered seat. Despite the material used, the Freyr weighs surprisingly little. The additional kink at the base of the tubing gives the Freyr both stability as well as an expressive style.

Freyr forms part of the new harmony between past and present, of material and technique. A little bit of “retro” this time, but without excessive nostalgia.

• Freyr is available as a dining room chair.

• The armrests are available in walnut and oak.

• The frame is supplied chrome or in all RAL lacquer colors.

• In order for the Freyr to glide perfectly across the ground, the plastic gliders can also be fitted with felt.
